Brosmer Land Surveying was established in 1990 by Ken Brosmer, L.S.  The company has provided professional services in the civil engineering discipline throughout the southern Indiana area ever since.  In January 2013, the ownership transitioned to Brad Eckerle and Phil Buehler, both of whom were employees.  The business name was changed to Brosmer Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc. in 2013. With its office located in downtown Jasper, the firm has primarily provided services within Dubois County and the surrounding counties (including Spencer, Warrick, Pike, Perry, Orange, Daviess, Martin, and Crawford).  Through working relationships with our clients, we venture throughout other locations in Indiana as necessary for the project at hand.

Brosmer Land Surveying & Engineering prides itself on providing our clients with services for project completion, while accounting for the desires, requirements, and budgets associated.  Over the last 33 years, we have continually worked with municipalities, property owners, utilities, land developers, contractors, consultants, industries, and attorneys.  These relationships have presented services in boundary surveys, control surveys, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, utility design, subdivision platting, elevation surveys, site design, transportation design, construction layout, land planning, permit procurement, drainage design, hydraulic analysis, and engineering consultation.

Brad is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company in providing project management, engineering design, construction inspection, and land surveying. His duties include engineering design, utility coordination, topographic surveying, preparation of plans and specifications, drainage design, hydraulic analysis, permitting procurement, engineering consultation, and client contact.

Brad joined Brosmer Land Surveying in September 2010.  He performed duties as a Project Manager/Surveyor until becoming an owner in January 2013. The company adjusted the company name in 2013 as Brosmer Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc. He worked seven years with a transportation and site development consulting firm in Indianapolis, Indiana acting as a Project Engineer, Project Surveyor, and Resident Project Representative for federally and locally funded transportation and infrastructure projects. The projects included roads, bridges, multi-use paths, roundabouts, drainage infrastructure, surveys, and site improvements.

Phil is the Survey Manager for Brosmer Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc. responsible for management from project start to finish. His duties include field and office management of the surveying operations. The survey types entail topographic, control, boundary, construction layout, subdivision plat, site and utility design. Phil prepares legal descriptions, performs field data collections, reviews survey plats, maintains client contact, and completes the steps necessary for project completion.

Phil worked as a Project Engineer with a transportation and site development consulting firm in Nashville, Tennessee. Phil joined Brosmer Land Surveying in May 2004.
